| I sometimes wonder why I still have a Xanga page. I think the only real reason is my sister. I feel I should refrain as much as possible from expressing my opinion, jaded though it is, in such blatant public form, due to my status as an Army officer. I definitely cannot state my opinions on the status of the Army, my unit, my training, or whatever war zone I may one day end up in. Talking about feelings gets old fast and just makes me realize how whiny I'm capable of being, plus I get too close to expressing an opinion I feel should be kept to myself. Whole lot of other reasons I should consider closing this down that I'm not going to go into here... In any case, I plan to keep this open so I can at least entertain myself with my sister's thoughts and musings on her page. Maybe one day I can find an effective way to use this again... I sure as hell won't resort to writing internet fiction, though. That's almost as bad as making a youtube video of yourself crying about Brittany Spears... | | |
| I have a lot I want to say about the election, but as a US Army Officer, there's really not much that I can or should say on a public forum in regards to my opinion. So... Good luck for the next for years, President Obama, and congratulations to you and your supporters. | | |
| Well, early voting has begun, and election day will soon be here. In two and a half weeks, America will have a new president. I'm pretty sure that the new President has already been decided. Americans want "change." I was going to write my opinion on the matter, but as an Army officer, that's something better kept to myself. My closing thought, then, is not meant to be seen as a vote for or against one person or another. Just something that we, as a nation, need to keep in mind, no matter who we pick to lead us into the next four years. Besides, I want the best thing for the nation, the people, and human life as a whole, no matter who wins the contest. The American majority is hoping for a change. Keep a close eye on your investment with your vote, America, and all the while, be careful what you wish for. You just might get it. | | |

Comic's from xkcd. | | |
| I've been putting out fire after fire after fire at work today. "What's the status on this?" "Where's that?" "Why are we doing it this way?" "I don't want to do this, let's do this!" And, my personal favorite... "Where's my scholarship money?" People B%^ch too much... | | |
